The Consumer Protection Commission Bahamas (CPC) is launching its “Refunds & Receipts Campaign”. On the #MorningBlendBusiness monthly segment #ConsumerVoice, CPC reps. Lavade Darling, Education Supervisor, and Datus Farrington Sr., Complaints & Investigation Manager, tell us they are seeking to address the inability of consumers to obtain a cash refund from most local retailers, as opposed to store credit. They will also reminding businesses that this, along with not issuing a receipt, is breaking the law.
