The CIBC Caribbean - The Bahamas and TCI “Walk for the Cure” is this Saturday across The Bahamas.

Leann Albury Mitchell, Marketing Manager, tells #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM money raised through the event will go to organizations like Gennie Dean Caring & Sharing Cancer Support Group gdcancersupportgroup.com. Member and cancer survivor Anita Rolle talks about their work.

For New Providence, the event kicks off at 6:30am at Goodman’s Bay Corporate Centre. Tickets are $25 adults, $15 children.

Walks will be taking place concurrently in Freeport, Marsh Harbour and Governor’s Harbour.
