According to the Bahamian Contractors' Association (BCA), there’s an unparalleled construction boom underway in The Bahamas.

But BCA’s Leonard Sands and Debby Deal tell #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM they’re concerned there’re not enough Bahamians with specialized construction skills in the field.They discuss the at least 16 specialty trades that are in high demand.

The BCA is in talks with the Department of Education to get younger school students exposed to these potential, high value careers.

The BCA is also holding a Contractors Certification Course next week, August 18-20.
