Despite a Registrar General decision to register “The Valley Boys” name and logo with the ”Valley Boys Junkanoo Group NPO” (@valley_boys_junkanoogroupnpo on Instagram) [currently better known as #WayForwardValleyBoys), Patrick Adderley, Executive, and Wendi Bodie, Section Leader, with The Valley Boys Est.1958 [aka #WorldFamousValleyBoys] (@thevalleyboysest1958 on Insta) tell #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM, how and why they are preparing for the upcoming Junkanoo season.

They say their group, which is still registered with Junkanoo Corporation New Providence - #myjcnp, is currently registering members and will eventually have elections. But they say it is quite possible there could be two “Valley Boys” groups on Bay Street this winter, if this matter isn’t resolved.
