Following their press conference yesterday, Junkanoo Corporation New Providence - #myjcnp Assistant Secretary Ivan Thompson explains to #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM why it would be against all the JCNP’s rules to allow the new Valley Boys (“Way Forward” Valley Boys) to compete in any category other than F (Fun).

Thompson gives a timeline as to whether and when the two factions met required deadlines to register for the upcoming Parades, and says why the JCNP chose to recognize the existing The Valley Boys Est.1958 (“World Famous” Valley Boys) and reject the other group.

He also responds to the latter’s press statement released last night in response to the JCNP press conference.
