Jeffrey Simmons, Acting Director, Bahamas Meteorology, tells #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM parts of the country have already seen 4 to 8 inches of rain as a result of a broad area of low pressure near the NW Bahamas.

This is separate from dangerous Hurricane #Milton out in the Gulf of Mexico, which will move over Florida and then bring tropical storm conditions and even more rain by mid-week as it moves north of the islands.
