What had been more than 6 thousand acres of pine forest on New Providence in the 1970s has literally been cut in half since then due to unauthorized and authorized deforestation. Director of Bahamas Forestry Danielle Hanek tells #MorningBlendBusiness this has had far reaching impacts. We talk about the need to protect remaining forest areas.
