Belinda Wilson, President of the umbrella union Bahamas National Alliance Trade Union Congress, says while it’s great the govt has signed more than 60 industrial agreements, getting the govt to adhere to the rules and provisions in these agreements has been challenging. And she says the private sector has been taking cues from the government.
As president of the Bahamas Union of Teachers, Wilson also discusses some of the ongoing issues this school year.
