Bahamas High Commissioner to CARICOM Leslia Miller Brice, Chair, Independence Secretariat, and Jack Thompson, Permanent Secretary to the Governor General, outline for #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM every event for each day leading up to July 10.

This year’s theme is “One People: United in Love and Service”.

The annual “Beat Retreat” is this SUNDAY. The celebrations culminate in the “Ecumenical Service and Cultural Show” on July 9, leading into fireworks at midnight followed by Junkanoo on Independence Day July 10, and the State Reception and Family Fun Day events that afternoon.
