After a two-year pandemic-related hiatus, #JunkanooSummerFestival is back!! Every Saturday in July (2, 16, 23, 30 - except the Independence Holiday weekend), beginning this weekend, Arawak Cay will come alive with the sounds of Junkanoo. Other aspects of Bahamian culture will be on display as well, says Charity Armbrister with Ministry of Tourism Tourism Today Bahamas. She tells #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM activities will begin at Noon and go ‘til midnight, with Junkanoo rushouts featuring A & B groups at 5:30/6pm and 9pm.
