Dr Tanya Simms is conducting DNA research on the Bahamian maternal gene pool. The Assistant Professor of Biology at University of The Bahamas tells #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM she’s looking for volunteers to allow collection of their mouth swabs for this project. It will take place this Thursday, July 11 from 10am to 5pm at GTR Small Island Sustainability (SIS) Research Complex, UB Oakes Field Campus.
