We kick off a new monthly series on #MorningBlend on Guardian Radio 96.9FM with Bahamas Humane Society (BHS).
Kim Aranha and Percy Grant explain how their no-kill shelter in New Providence is bursting at the seams with dogs and cats. The situation is even more dire in Grand Bahama, as the Humane Society Of Grand Bahama announced recently they have to put animals to sleep because of overcrowding.
To address the problems in New Providence, BHS is hosting a “Pop up Adoption” this Saturday, July 23, at Super Value Cable Beach, 10am to 3pm.
